Caring for oil concentrates in Indian weather

Heat, humidity, and how to make your juice last.

Oil-rich perfumes behave differently in heat and humidity. Store bottles upright, away from direct sun and bathroom steam. A cool drawer or closed cabinet is ideal. Wipe the neck of the bottle occasionally to prevent residue build-up. If you travel, keep the bottle in a padded pouch—temperature swings in checked luggage can affect delicate top notes over time. Apply to pulse points on clean, lightly moisturised skin. Unscented base lotion can help longevity without fighting the composition. In very humid cities, one thoughtful layer often outperforms three heavy sprays. If a scent seems weaker than you remember, your skin may be holding more moisture that day—try the same juice again in cooler evening air before you judge it.
